A: Bioflavonoids are the plant pigments that are responsible for giving flowers and fruits their distinctive colours. Bilberries contain high levels of anthocyanosides which are responsible for the deep blue pigment colour of.

A: Antioxidants are naturally occurring nutrients that neutralise free radicals in the body which are responsible for tissue damage due to oxidative stress.
