Safety Closed Electrolysis Equipment S-PG
Safety closed electrolysis equipment designed for controlled and secure electrolysis experiments in school laboratories.
This closed-container electrolysis apparatus allows students to safely investigate gas production and electrochemical reactions using only small volumes of solution. Its sealed design supports repeated classroom use over several days without changing electrolytes, making it ideal for secondary and introductory tertiary science lessons focused on electrolysis, gas ratios, and redox processes.
Key Features
- Closed-container design provides enhanced safety compared with open electrolysis setups
- Requires only a small volume of electrolyte (approximately 100 mL)
- Built-in platinum-coated titanium electrodes support a wide range of electrolysis solutions
- Graduated gas collection tubes allow easy comparison of gas volume ratios
- Electrolyte can remain sealed in the unit for several days, reducing preparation and waste
- Compatible with hand generators such as GENECON V3 or DUE (not included)
