Cushion Cover - Persian Garden / Damson - 40 x 60 - One of a Kind

This is a one-of-a-kind piece. Where ink drops through the top layer of hand woodblock printing over 8 to 12 printings across a month, the aged cotton beneath reveals the Persian Garden pattern - a deep teal-blue wash across the upper cloth, a bold green botanical sprig anchoring the lower left, and layers of dusty rose, amber, soft lavender and cream building beneath bold red lattice and diamond grid patterns. Fine red stripes and delicate floral line-work ghost through the centre, and a dark bird silhouette sits quietly in the upper right. Rich, jewel-toned, and complex - like a fragment of a Persian miniature painting. Each is entirely unrepeatable.

The Damson linen-cotton backing adds a deep, plum-toned richness that anchors the jewel tones of the front. A 1cm flat flange frames the cover, finished with quiet precision.
