Manos Campesinas represents farmers who are organised into a number of separate groups spread through various coffee-growing regions including San Marcos, Quetzaltenango and Atitlán. Focusing strongly on providing technical support and other services to these groups, Manos Campesinas is currently comprised of 12 producer organisations which collectively contain 1172 producer members. This coffee comes from the region around the Tajumulco volcano in San Marcos Department in the far west of the country near the Mexican border.
