Elizabeth’s Hollyhock Seeds

My eight year old daughter Elizabeth gets jealous of me selling honey on my computer and wanted to sell something for herself. So at the end of last summer she collected Hollyhock flower seeds from our garden to be dried out for the following spring.

Each pack is hand made and hand decorated. I would like to say the paper is chic recycled paper but it was just commandeered from the printer, and the staples from my office. Each packet has around a tablespoon of seeds. These seeds would make a great gift.

Hollyhocks are tall, stately plants that send a single stalk up to six or seven feet high adorned all the way up with wide leaves and large flowers. These ones are either light or dark pink. At the end of summer the plant mostly dies off at which point the unsightly stalk should be cut down, but the plant will re-sprout and start growing again in winter. Our garden has a bunch of these that pop up every year in various places. 1 review for Elizabeth’...
