DrivrTech DT-8000 LiFePO4 Dashcam Battery
Compatible with all VIOFO, BlackVue and most other dashcams (hardwire cable of dashcam required)
DT-8000 Battery recharges when driving and powers your dashcam when ignition is off. Its sleek compact enclosure houses a large-capacity battery (12.8V / 8000mAh / 102.4Wh).
Why invest in a backup battery for parking mode?
Even though a typical car battery has a much higher capacity than Battery Packs, it is not designed for routine deep discharge cycles while the car is parked hence its performance may deteriorate and life is shortened prematurely over time. The DriverTech DT-8000 Battery works by charging a high-quality lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery while your car is running, and when it's turned off, the charged battery is then used to provide continuous power to your dash cam without the need to draw any power from your car battery. This process is very effective in reducing the risk of battery discharge, low voltage electrical warnings and flat car batteries.
Discreet, Fast Charging and Compliant with NZ/Australian Safety Standards
Fast-Charging: The DT-8000 reaches 100% charge in approximately 55 minutes regardless of cigarette (power socket) or hardwired power method.
Long-lasting: Parking Mode will last approximately 18 hours with a typical dual-channel dashcam setup. However if you are really wanting to maximise your parking recording time, the new A329S series dashcam can record for an outstanding 75 hours using low power impact detection mode).
Discreet: Being 14cm wide x 16cm long x 3cm high the battery is typically positioned under the passenger or driver's seat.
5V USB (3A max): with its USB-A or USB-C power output, you can charge any accessory, such as a phone or a Wi-Fi hotspot to keep your Cloud dashcam connected while in Parking Mode.
LCD Display: Information such as remaining battery power, live voltage, timer settings, can all be shown on the display
