Rosé du Cygne 2025 North Canterbury

This 2025 Rosé du Cygne was made entirely from estate-grown Pinot Noir, hand-harvested from our old-vine block in Waipara, North Canterbury. The fruit was carefully selected and fermented partly in barrel and partly in tank, a combination chosen to build complexity, texture and quiet confidence. The wine was bottled with both immediate enjoyment and graceful ageing in mind.

The resulting wine is refined and expressive. It shows a pale pink colour that draws you naturally to the glass. Aromatically, it offers lifted notes of peach and wild strawberry, layered with delicate floral tones and subtle savoury detail. There is a sense of composure and precision, with each element unfolding gently rather than demanding attention.

On the palate, the wine finds its balance between elegance and structure. It is dry and finely textured, with a mouthfilling presence carried by fresh acidity and a long, gliding line. Flavours of stone fruit and red berries are supported by gentle barrel influence, adding depth without weight. The finish is seamless and persistent, leaving an impression of harmony and restraint.

We believe that Rosé du Cygne 2025 is suited to a wide range of occasions. It is poised enough to be enjoyed on its own, yet serious enough to sit comfortably at the table. It pairs beautifully with seafood, poultry and lighter dishes, and while already drinking well, it will also reward careful cellaring in the years ahead.
