Breuil Calvados VSOP 700ml

Breuil's Calvados VSOP is a beautifully balanced apple brandy from Chteau du Breuil in the heart of Normandy’s famed Pays d'Auge region. Aged for a minimum of four years in oak casks, this VSOP develops a warm amber colour along with a smooth, rounded character that highlights the elegance of traditional Calvados.

Made from cider produced through 100% natural fermentation, the spirit captures the pure expression of Normandy apples grown in the rich clay soils surrounding the historic chteau. Oak ageing brings gentle spice and softness, while the fruit remains bright and expressive. The result is a refined Calvados that works equally well as a classic after dinner digestif or as a flavourful base for cocktails.

Chteau du Breuil itself is a restored historic estate surrounded by more than 22,000 apple trees, with three generations of distilling expertise behind its production. Their focus on quality over quantity shines through in this elegant and fruit forward VSOP.

Tasting Notes

Fresh apple and orchard fruit lead the nose with hints of vanilla and light oak spice. The palate is smooth and rounded with baked apple, gentle caramel and warm spice, finishing long and softly fruity.
