Cielo e Terra Baccolo Bianco Appassimento 2024 (6x750ml)
If you're partial to a plush pinot gris or anything fruit-driven and fresh, you're going to love this partially sun-dried Italian white!
Produced in the appassimento method where grapes are gently sun-dried before fermentation, this clever blend of Apulian varietals amps up flavour and texture in all the right ways. It's vibrant, aromatic and totally indulgent with that signature Italian flair. Expect ripe mango and peach on the nose, a lush, round palate with creamy texture and a lingering finish that keeps things beautifully balanced.
It's interesting without trying too hard, perfect with food and dangerously easy to enjoy. Stock up now and thank us later. This one is a winner.
Tasting note
The distributor: "An intriguing wine, partially made in the appassimento method. Fresh and inviting with elegant tropical fruits of mango and peach with a lingering creaminess on the finish."
Luca Maroni: "On a background of smooth grapeiness, clear and fragrant, notes of flowers radiate with lymph its perfume. Such is the cleanliness of the aromas, such is the absence of bitterness in the taste that caresses with excellent softness. And rich is its extract, so that its touch is dense and pulpy."
