Introduced in 2020, this extra-aged Kentucky Straight Rye is built to appeal to bourbon drinkers who want to explore rye without jumping straight into something overly sharp or aggressive. It balances rye spice with sweetness and smooth oak, keeping everything well rounded and easy to enjoy.

Made with a mashbill of 51% rye grain, alongside sweet corn and malted barley, it follows a similar distillation approach to Elijah Craig Small Batch Bourbon, just with a rye-led twist. The result is a rye that delivers flavour and structure, but still carries that signature Elijah Craig smoothness. It works beautifully neat, with a splash of water, or as the backbone of a refined rye-forward cocktail.

Tasting Notes

Dark chocolate and warming spice lead on the nose, with a gentle hint of smoke. The palate shows rich baking spices and honey, supported by smooth, well-integrated oak. The finish is long and lingering, with spice and sweetness carrying through right to the end.
