Elijah Craig's Toasted Barrel Bourbon takes the classic Small Batch style and gives it a richer, more indulgent twist. After full maturation, the bourbon is finished in a second, custom toasted barrel, unlocking extra layers of sweet oak, spice and dessert-like depth. It is a smooth, comforting pour that leans into warmth and richness without losing balance.

This double-barrel approach brings out softer, rounder flavours than the standard Small Batch, making this a brilliant sipping bourbon. Think campfire treats rather than raw char, with the toasted oak adding sweetness and complexity rather than intensity. It is polished, approachable, and seriously easy to enjoy neat.

Tasting Notes

Deep roasted pecan colour in the glass. The nose opens with plenty of toasted oak and rich caramel. On the palate it is big and complex, with warming spice and pepper giving way to milk chocolate, soft smoke and marshmallow sweetness. The finish is gently warming and lingering, with chocolate, baking spices and a touch of toasted oak.
