1950's Schwartz Haumont - Industrial Amoire

Rare industrial metal armoire with 4 portes - c 1930 Fabricated in the aetelier of schwartz hautmont paris. Beautiful aged patina featuring stunning tonal variations of surface colour. The 4 portes are detailed with a unique embossed frame detail - elevating the design above its utilitarian status - secured with 2 original aged locks. Each porte opens to reveal its storage practicality - a charming small mercerised mirror is positioned at the reverse side of each porte - highlighting that every important detail Has been considered in its design. It’s clean lines are entirely riveted front & back marking its authentic industrial heritage - an embossed brass logo at the top right states the esteemed maker. A unique / functional & decorative piece of furniture that will add enormous amounts of industrial aesthetic to any interior environment.
