Dailuaine 'Old Malt Cask' 2006 / 15 Year Old Hunter Laing's Whisky 700ml

A 2006 Dailuaine single malt from independent bottler Hunter Laing that was matured in a single sherry butt for 15 years, before being bottled in February 2022 as part of its Old Malt Cask series. Aromas of toasted barley, sweet malt, fruit cake and hazelnuts fill the nose, complemented by notes of garden herbs, black pepper, dates, orange zest and dried fruit throughout the palate. 50%abv
Nose: Nutty and malt, toasted barley and fruit cake.
Palate: Quite herbal with a pepperiness, dates and some orange zest.
Finish: Long and peppery dried fruits and herbal notes.
