Caol Ila 2013 10 Year Old ex Sherry & Bourbon Casks 'Signatory' Small Batch #12 Whisky 700ml

From Signatory Vintage's Small Batch series comes a Caol Ila single malt aged in oloroso sherry casks. It was bottled at 48.2% ABV with natural colour and without chill filtration.

The powerful Caol Ila 10 year old 2013/2024 was distilled on Islay and enjoyed 10 years of maturation in casks pre-filled with Oloroso Sherry and Bourbon.

Nose: rich aromas of prunes and dates paired with strong peat smoke

Palate: strong notes of grilled BBQ meat, followed by the dark dried fruits again

Finish: Peat smoke, BBQ and dried fruits can be found in the long finish , with burnt caramel and spicy honey
