The second official Fino sherry matured release from Kilchoman – an Islay farm distillery known for its fine young heavily peated whiskies. This whisky was distilled in 2018 and aged for a minimum of five years in 20 Fino sherry casks sourced from Bodega Jose y Miguel Martin. The nose opens with aromas of dry peat and sweet butterscotch, joined on the palate by well-rounded smoke, honeycomb, candied fruits, rich toffee and caramel. 50%

Nose Subtle peat smoke notes joined by green orchard fruit, toffee, and wafts of maritime air.

Palate More crisp green apples with lemon peel followed by salted almonds, caramel, and that peat smoke note again.

Finish Long and fruity with sweetness mingling with smoke.
