Glenallachie 8 Year Old 2011 Moscatel Cask Finish 'The Cooper's Choice' 700ml Whisky

This single cask Speyside single malt Scotch whisky from the Glenallchie distillery was distilled in May 2011 and matured initially in an ex bourbon cask with further maturation in ex moscatel wine cask.

Eventually it was bottled at 8 years old for the Cooper's Choice series, with 342 bottles released at 59% abv.

Nose: Sweet grapes and tropical fruits like melon and coconut, oak spices, honey.

Palate: Well balanced, gentle creamy and warming with loads of sweet fruits white grapes, mango and melon.
