Used under moldings, around windows, doors and vents, waterproofs overlapping metal seams.

Use this instead of Silicone Sealants as it remains pliable and makes vents removable, this is the key reason to use Mastic.

I am preparing my caravan for the caulking tape what are the steps to applying?
- scrape, cut away old silicone mastic
- clean area with metho or Wax and Grease Remover
- Apply mastic and screw in fittings
- trim excess mastic away
- Brush edge with Wax and Grease Remover to create a seal or my preferred method is to "edge finish" with a small bead of silicone, this creates a sure seal.

Also how long does it require to set/harden?
- Mastic doesn't set nor harden it is ready for immediate use.

How long should it last and is it easy to remove and replace later on?
- Mastic takes about 8-10 years to dry out, crack and possibly start leaking.
- It is pretty easy to scrape away, clean up and refit.
