Gucci Scarlet high-heel mules

from the Fall/Winter 2019 collection, designed under Alessandro Michele.

Crafted in striking pink polished calfskin, featuring a dramatic stiletto heel and peep-toe silhouette. The leather-lined insoles feature Gucci's distinctive mask motif, directly inspired by the masks featured throughout Gucci's FW19 runway collection.

The FW19 show centred around Alessandro Michele's exploration of masks as a symbol of identity, protection and the idea of showing and hiding who we are. Gucci's own archive confirms the coloured and sculptural masks as a defining element of the collection.
