Recertification of Stroud fire bottles is every 2 years. The system has to be taken out of service after 6 years.Recertification includes:
- Weigh bottle for appropriate weight
- Check the bottle for pressure and make sure it is functioning properly
- Inspect the head to make sure it is still functioning properly
- Add updated stickers and labels once passed inspection
