The Seiko Flightmaster SNA411 is one of the most feature-packed quartz chronographs ever produced, offering serious aviation in a compact and affordable package. The 42mm stainless steel case features polished and brushed finishing, screw-down pushers, and a screw-down crown — offering a solid 200 meters of water resistance. The standout feature is the rotating bi-directional slide rule bezel, which allows for complex calculations like fuel consumption, speed, distance, and conversions — all without electronics.

The black dial is densely detailed but surprisingly intuitive: luminous sword hands and applied hour markers, a chronograph measuring 60 minutes in 1/5-second increments, and a 24-hour subdial paired with an alarm function. A date and time window sits at 3 o’clock, and the yellow chronograph seconds hand adds a subtle pop of colour against the instrument-style layout.
