WHAT WE LOVE:

The Seiko Prospex SRPD09K1, often nicknamed the “Save the Ocean Samurai", combines serious dive-watch capability with striking visual appeal. A member of Seiko’s Samurai line — so named for its angular case and sharp-edged silhouette — this reference features a textured “wave" dial in deep blue, inspired by the ocean’s surface and part of Seiko’s ongoing commitment to marine conservation.

The 43.8mm coated stainless steel case is distinctly faceted and highly wearable thanks to its short lugs and ergonomic profile. The black-and-blue bezel insert complements the dial, while large Lumibrite-filled indices and hands ensure excellent low-light visibility. A screw-down crown at 3 o’clock, 200m of water resistance, and robust build quality make this a true ISO-certified dive watch, not just a desk diver.
