FN303 Martin Phillipps & The Chills - Sunburnt (1996)

1995 and Martin Phillipps finds himself recording Sunburnt in late summer at a recording studio on a bucolic river bank near Henley-on-Thames with producer Craig Leon (Blondie, Suicide, Richard Hell ) and session legends Dave Gregory (XTC) and Dave Mattocks (Fairport Convention). After some time back in Dunedin, Martin Phillipps was ready to record again. Naturally reflective but a forward looking album too with the expected variety of material and style of which Martin Phillipps masters.
