Swervedriver - The World's Fair EP

The World’s Fair represents the first new music from the reformed English shoegazers Swervedriver since 2019. Much of the shoegaze era’s greatest music was released on 12", four-track EPs, and this set falls in line with that classic format, with two pieces recorded with Mark Gardener of fellow travellers Ride.
It marks a triumphant return to form for the band, delivering classic Swervedriver sound with a mix of lush psychedelic overtones and trademark heavy guitar work, marking their first new music in several years with a collection of tracks that feel right at home with their earlier EPs from the shoegaze era; highlights include the standout track Volume Control.
