Manuka Smoked Apples

We wondered what smoked apples would taste like, so we cooked up a batch with Manuka wood. and a hint of dark brown sugar & spices. The results are wonderfully sweet & smokey apples in a rich, smoky caramel sauce.

Fantastic on ice cream, apple pies while at the same time good with ham, pork or on your favorite cheese
