King Cobra Electric Winch - 12v or 24v (Build Your Own)

Build your own winch products are built to order at Red Winches in the UK. Please allow around six months from the date of order. Feel free to to confirm lead time or to discuss configuration options before ordering.

The RED Winches King Cobra utilises a cascade-style gearbox to transmit the power from the motor down to the drive shaft. The gears are manufactured from chromium molybdenum steel and case hardened to give maximum strength (Up to 1230 N/mm2) and excellent durability. The gearbox runs in semi-liquid grease, not oil, making it much easier to service. Includes

The drum is sealed with high-quality seals at both ends, making the winch fully watertight and capable of operating underwater. Behind these seals, the drum bearings are equipped with free-running ball bearings that are packed with waterproof grease.

Standard Drum:

- The Std drum can hold 30m of 11mm plasma or synthetic rope.
- The Std drum can hold 25m of 12mm plasma or synthetic rope.

Medium ( 76mm) Drum:

- The Medium drum can hold 48m of 11mm plasma or synthetic rope.
- The Medium drum can hold 36m of 12mm plasma or synthetic rope.

XL ( 203mm) Drum:

- The XL drum can hold 55m of 11mm plasma or synthetic rope.
- The XL drum can hold 48m of 12mm plasma or synthetic rope.
- The XL drum can hold 35m of 14mm plasma or synthetic rope.

The King Cobra is supplied with a rope and a hook. The diameter of the supplied rope depends on the chosen gearing option. The length of the rope depends on the drum length chosen.
