Phaetus Conch Hotend™ QIDI Plus4
Why do I need to PID tune after installing this hot end?
Most hot end replacements have just the hot end less the heater block and cables, in the case for the Plus for Pheatus Conch hot end, they come with a fully wired hot end and new improved heater assembly. After changing the hot end, the temperature probe may read slightly different than the stock hot end so the PID tune will calibrate the new probe and heater for the printer, it pays to PID tune each time you change from old to new and visa versa.
