NV Forrest St Laurent
St Laurent isn’t a variety you stumble across every day. More at home in Austria, the Czech Republic and northern Italy, it traces its roots back to France. Small, dark berries, soft tannins, and a natural lean toward cherry led aromatics make it a quiet outlier that rewards a bit of curiosity.
Tasting Notes
Deep blue red in the glass, this is a wine that draws you in slowly. Violet and raspberry lift from the first swirl, followed by layers of dark cherry, chocolate and allspice. There is a savoury edge too, with hints of leather and mushroom adding depth, texture, and a finish that lingers longer than expected.
