Florentine Gilded Bookends

This vintage, Circa 1960’s Florentine bookend set, is an exquisite little find out of an estate in the Tuscan town of Arezzo. We imagine it sat on a grand credenza or decorative niche with a beautifully bound set of favourite Italian books.

Gold gilded wood adds a touch of regency glamour to the outward facing Roman scenes depicted on a red background.
