EIS / ESL Mercedes lock repair - Emulator
Electronic Ignition Switch (Push-Button Start) & Electronic Steering Lock Failure
We regularly see failures in Mercedes Electronic Ignition Switch (EIS) and Electronic Steering Lock (ESL) systems, particularly on push-button start vehicles. These faults can cause no-start conditions, intermittent operation, or complete immobilisation of the vehicle.
Our workshop is fully equipped to bench test, diagnose, and repair these units at component level. Where repair of the original steering lock is not viable, we can also supply and program a steering lock emulator, restoring correct system operation without further mechanical failure points.
