RGM 3550 LZ Red Printmaking Press Manual hing Press for hing and Relief Printing (LZ = Lino and Zinc). This hing press is designed to produce excellent prints from either zinc (1 mm thick) plates or linoleum (3.2mm thick). The specailly designed print bed can be turned over to easily accomodate 3.2mm thick lino. Other thicknesses of lino can be accomodated by creating "runners" from the material you are printing from. An ideal medium-size press for the studio and suitable for schools. Solid steel structure with knurled lower roller (40mm diameter) and smooth upper roller (50mm diameter). The precision of its mechanical parts allows this hing press to deliver professional print quality. The 3-spoke handle assits working on larger surfaces. Felt is included.
