No One Dies Alone (NODA)

This Dying Matters Week 2025 online event explores the transformative programme being piloted in Tāmaki Makaurau.

NODA champions Kay Ryan (NODA Rotorua, Te Atawhai Aroha) Maria Mariotti (Honohono Tātou Katoa) will share the origins of NODA, success stories, overcoming obstacles, insights from the pilot programme, and how trained volunteers provide compassionate presence to those in their final hours. Learn how to become a volunteer, what it takes to start NODA in your community, and contribute to building more compassionate end-of-life care.
