Also known as Bigleaf Magnolia that produces large, fragrant white flowers with a burgundy-purple base in late Spring. Thrives in both full sun and partial shade with humus-rich soil that is slightly acidic, moist but free-draining. Hardy, deciduous and grows up to 20 metres. Ideal as a feature/specimen tree.
