Often known as Wharariki and Mountain flax. Has drooping, twisted seed pods and shiny-green, weeping leaves. Smaller than P. tenax. Seeds from January through into March. A hardy, evergreen native and suitable for growing in poor soils that are free-draining. Thrives in full sun and tolerates periods of drought and coastal locations.
