For sowing: Sow seeds directly in warm conditions or raise in trays filled with fine seed-raising mix. Firm gently and keep moist until germination occurs. Transplant seedlings when they are approximately 6cm high. Early sowings should be protected or started indoors, as warmth is required for germination.
For growing on: Grow in a sunny, well-drained position. Prepare soil with organic matter before planting. Water regularly and feed as required. Harvest fruit regularly to encourage continuous production. Pick chillies green for milder heat or red for increased heat. Protect young plants from snails and slugs. Includes:
