River Jayden Sunglasses - Te Pō

These ātaahua sunglasses are a design collaboration between Aotearoa creative River Jayden (Ngāti Tahu, Ngāti Whaoa) and Moana Road.

They feature stunning original artwork by River, and each pair comes with a customised neoprene bag and cleaning cloth.

These sunglasses are lightweight, stylish and have 100% polarised lenses.

River (Ngāti Tahu - Waikato, Ngāti Whaoa) is a visual artist and graphic designer who specialises in digital design and painting. Her visually striking work is bold and colourful and her murals & public artworks have gained strong national and international recognition.

River has a Bachelor of Arts from University of Canterbury. Her art history research looks at colonial and religious appropriation of Māori culture, with a particular focus into the appropriation of kōwhaiwhai patterns within Christianity, as a deliberate way to assimilate Māori.
