Volley - Silver Pepper

The Veja Volley Silver Pepper is a true original, rooted in vintage sportswear and reintroduced with a modern, considered feel. Inspired by Brazilian volleyball shoes from the 1970s, this style marks a return to Veja’s very first model, originally launched in 2005, and still just as relevant today.

Crafted from Organic Traced leather sourced from 100 percent certified organic farms in Uruguay, the leather is prized for its softness, flexibility and refined finish. It is mechanically worked for suppleness, then carefully tanned in Brazil using fewer dyes than conventional processes, with strict controls around water use. The result is a beautifully fine leather that feels comfortable from the first wear while staying true to Veja’s responsible approach to production.

- Insole: Amazonian rubber (11%), E.V.A. bio-sourced (42% sugar cane), recycled E.V.A. (11%) and organic cotton (12%)
- Outsole: Amazonian rubber (40%), mineral silica (23%), recycled rubber (10%), synthetic rubber (11%) and others (16%)
- Welt: Synthetic rubber (40%), mineral silica (22%) and others (38%)
- Lining: Recycled polyester (100%)
- Laces: Organic cotton (100%)
