CO2 Mushroom Bag

NZ-made CO² bags are designed to naturally increase CO² levels and improve the yield of indoor grow tents and small greenhouses. With the right conditions, these bags can lead to plant-matter growth and yield increases of 20-40%, with some plant species seeing up to 100% growth and yield increases from CO² enrichment. These bags are perfect for growing plants and microgreens in small, enclosed spaces. All plants benefit from higher CO² levels, resulting in faster, stronger, and more vigorous growth.

Traditionally, commercial greenhouses increase CO² levels using complex systems that burn natural gas. However, our CO² bags offer a safer, cheaper, and more eco-friendly alternative by taking advantage of mushrooms breaking down sawdust and releasing CO² gas. Two CO² bags in a 1200 x 1200 grow tent or two CO² bags in a 2-tier mini greenhouse will supply sufficient CO² levels, while four bags will provide optimal yields. These bags can raise CO² levels from 400-420 ppm to 2100-2300 ppm in under an hour.

CO² bags will last for approximately 4-6 months as the mycelium breaks down the carbon-producing mix in the bag. If you want to maintain high CO² levels consistently, you can replace the bags every 2-3 months. If you need higher CO² levels or are servicing a larger area with more plants or microgreen trays, you can add additional bags.
