Autumn’s Aura:

I saw this striking picture of the hills in a lifestyle magazine and just felt that I needed to paint it. The photographer is David Wall Licence #2302231 and he gave me approval to use this image.

My favourite part of this painting is all of the colours in the hills and the sharpness of the light. I wanted to show the viewer a general view of the North Islands iconic kiwi farmland with the gorgeous long light of an afternoon in Autumn. Spectacular! I love the tiny detail in the painting as well as the overall look and feel of this piece.

A medium 39.5" x 29.5" (1003 mm x 749 mm) Oil Painting on Professional Canvas 1.45" wide (37 mm). Finished beautifully front and back. Signed on the front with my signature in gold pen and dated on the back.

Protected with a matt sealant to protect against uv light to stop fading and can be carefully cleaned with a damp cloth.

This painting has many acrylic and oil layers that build up the colours and depth.

This comes ready to hang.
