Piwakawaka - Reclaimed Oak and Ceramic

The body of this little bird is made from reclaimed oak, the wings and tail from black unglazed ceramic.

It has a base that attaches to a wall easily with a single screw. The bird has a dowel that fits the base and allows for rotational adjustment of the birds position, so you can have it dive, climb or flit across the wall.
