The Silent Blade is the first book of the Paths of Darkness trilogy, where Drizzt Do'Urden sets out to destroy the Crystal Shard. This marks the eleventh book in the greater Legend of Drizzt series.

With Errtu defeated, Crenshinibon has been recovered. Wulfgar has been saved from his torment, and Regis has gotten his three breakfasts. The Companions of the Hall should stand reunited and victorious, but all is not well for Drizzt and his friends.
