Battery removal and installation instructions: Use a screwdriver to loosen the captive screw and remove the lid to the battery compartment, ensuring it is kept away from children. Insert new button cell batteries as indicated by the polarity diagram ( /-) inside the compartment. Replace the lid and re-tighten the captive screw.
