Byron Bay indie-rockers SEASIDE announce their long-awaited debut album ‘ Desiderata ’ coming this October, marking a powerful milestone in their eight-year journey. Known for their emotionally raw songwriting and dreamy yet fierce sound, ‘ Desiderata’ captures themes of love, heartbreak, addiction, grief, and hope — brought to life through the band’s signature blend of indie and alternative rock.

T he title Desiderata comes from the poem read at Darcy’s parents’ wedding, and the album art features ‘Sadie’ — a crying sun that embodies SEASIDE ’s essence: sunshine and sorrow. Standout tracks include “Rebels," inspired by a dream about lost love; “Family Gambling," a haunting portrayal of addiction and its consequences; and “Big Sky," a powerful tribute to grief, written following the loss of Darcy’s father.
