After fitting the new seal on the door you will need a hair dryer ( NO HEAT GUN) to warm up the seal to reshape itself, once while the door is open mood, heat up the seal from the inner side, and 2ND, when the door is closed, warm it up start from one corner and follow, in some area, may you need to help seal to magnetised, simply by a wooden stick or something similar just push the seal gently towards the cabinet while hair dryer is on and pointing that location. do not open the door at least for two hours after the operation is complete.

Make sure your seal is the push-in type and it is not held on the Lid by a screw and metal bar.
