Interesting vintage rug with an allover design of floral tendrils placed on a red ground. This rug is framed by a wide ‘palmette" border & 3 meandering foliate guards. This is a very sturdy piece made of sheep’s wool by experienced rug makers. It has been overdyed in red resulting in a very uniform appearance with black highlights. A rug that will lift the décor of any room.
