NovaTears® Omega-3 is novel and unique water and preservative-free moisturising eye drops specifically designed for the relieve of evaporative dry eye disease and meibomian gland dysfunction. It stabilizes the lipid layer of the tear film and reduces the evaporation of the underlying water phase of the tear film.

NovaTears® Omega-3 lubricates and protects the corneal surface and thereby efficiently relieves the symptoms associated with dry eye like burning, itching, stinging and foreign body sensation. Ingredients

Perfluorohexyloctane (EyeSol™) with 0.2% Omega-3 fatty acids, ethyl esters (DHA-ethylester and/or EPA-ethylester), liquid paraffin, butylhydroxyanisole (BHA) and butylhydroxytoluene (BHT). Directions

Instil 1 drop in each affected eye for up to 4 times daily.

Due to the special properties of NovaTears Omega-3 you may not feel the drop falling into your eye. In this case, we recommend application in front of a mirror.

Use within 8 weeks of opening. Warnings

Do not use NovaTears Omega-3 if you are allergic to one of the ingredients listed above.

Take special care with the use of NovaTears Omega-3, if you are concurrently using another eye medication. Allow at least 15 minutes between using the other product and NovaTears Omega-3.

Not to be used with contact lenses.
