This design features a mix of steel and timber elements arranged in a striking zigzag form at each end of the table. It’s a fusion of wood and metal that delivers sharp lines, strong character, and excellent stability.

Striking Z-Leg Design – True to its name, each end of the table forms a sideways “Z" shape. We achieve this with heavy-gauge steel beams and solid wood components that intersect to create a geometric silhouette. The parallel steel and wood pieces not only look architecturally intriguing but also distribute weight evenly, easily supporting large table tops.

Mixed-Material Craftsmanship – The Z-Frame showcases our ability to blend materials seamlessly. The table top is made from your choice of solid wood (such as recycled rimu, totara or beech) with a smooth, hand-finished surface. The legs incorporate powder-coated steel aligned with timber accents for a unique two-tone effect. Every joint and surface is meticulously finished for a flawless, high-end appearance.

Custom for Your Space – We custom-build the Z-Frame to suit your needs. For a grand statement, consider a 2.8m–3.0m length (seating 10 ); the Z-legs can handle large sizes without additional centre supports. In a smaller area, a 1.8m version (seating 4–6) delivers the design impact on a cosier scale. Choose the steel colour (matte black for industrial chic, white for a bright look,.) and the wood type and stain. The result will be a truly unique custom dining table tailored to your style.

Durability & Function – Designed as an heirloom-quality piece, the Z-Frame is built tough. The steel components are locally sourced and give the base rock-solid strength. The timber is finished in a durable natural oil that’s easy to maintain. Despite its bold form, the table is very practical: there’s ample room for chairs along the sides, and no middle legs to obstruct seating. This table will serve as a reliable focal point for daily dining and special gatherings, all while turning heads with its architectural flair.
