BCP-Skin can stimulate skin metabolism and counteract the internal loss of the collagenous extracellular matrix which contains 80% collagen by dry weight. Along with its effects on skin density, the collagen peptides as found in BCP-Skin have been shown to also support nail growth and structure.
A study of 114 women aged 45-65 were randomised to take BCP-Skin for 8 weeks. There was a significantly higher content of procollagen type I (65%) and elastin (18%) in the BCP-Skin group.2
