Tapered Awl

A tapered awl is a many useful tool!

Use it to make eyelets, enlarge holes for threading heavy threads, as a laying tool when wanting to smoothly lay threads, or the sharp tip can be used to prick a pattern for pattern transfer.

The awl is 12cm in length with a smooth wooden handle. Supplied with a light plastic sheath, but I recommend using a scissor sheath for a good level of protection - to keep the point sharp, and your fingers safe in the tool case.
