The Tahitian lime is a pretty tough tree that will grow in most soils and climates. Unlike most lime trees they are thornless which makes pruning them easy. They do love hot summers and will visibly thrive in the warmer months of the year. They are very easy to look after and need minimal fertilising. The fruit is usually ready through winter in conditions but they can in fact bear fruit all year around in the right climate.
