Colocasia 'Midnight Beauty'

The striking Colocasia esculenta 'Midnight Beauty' is one of the darker Elephant Ears developed, with both dark leaves and dark stem, though the stem usually stays a dark burgundy colour. Similar to the Black Magic variety its leaves start out dark purple with a background hint of green and then proceed to get darker as they mature.
Leaves tend to look their best when positioned in at least 'some' shade, but remember they are frost tender.
